Riley's Senior Photos

Riley is graduating pretty soon here and is headed to Southern Utah to go to school to become a physical therapist. He's a great kid. He loves sports and enjoyed wrestling for a little bit. And he loves to make his mom happy so he came and did senior portraits with me!

Weber State Cheer Team

My brother is a stunter on the cheer squad for Weber State University, he's also on the Utah Jazz cheer squad, no biggie. He's AMAZING!! He taught himself how to tumble when he got into college and this guy is not limber! I had an opportunity to photograph an event for them and go through the process of warming up, psyching up, calming down, and performing. It was really neat to see the process and I've been waiting forever to post the pictures but had to wait till after their nationals competition. They took 3rd!

Wishes

I'm so drawn to this photograph right now. It's actually my desktop on my computer because the green is so soothing to me. I was curious as to why I was so drawn to the greens so I googled it. Green represents tranquility and health. It's believed to relieve stress, help heal, and have a calming effect. Other words used to describe it are harmony, balance, refreshment, rest, restoration, reassurance, equilibrium, peace... Aren't those amazing words?! Balance... When the earth is green, it indicates a presence of water and little danger of famine. Safety. Interesting huh? So I took this photograph and did something a little different with it. Hopefully it's the beginning of a series of quotes on photographs.
